Non-members are $15. Please bring payment with you. We accept cash, check or will process a credit card on-site.
Susan Tucker, Woodland Cemetery Administrator, will lead a guided walking tour. Woodland Cemetery was established in 1862 during the Civil War. Stories of Ashland and Randolph-Macon College history are found here. Learn the stories of the individuals who helped shape the Town and residents who worked on the regional, national and international stage.
Cemetery terrain is uneven. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. Tour lasts 75-90 minutes.
Secretariat Day in Ashland
11:00 am at the Ashland Theatre – Secretariat movie with a welcome from Kate Chenery Tweedy and Jocelyn Russell.
2:00 pm at the Reynolds Family Plaza at R-MC - The “MANE” Event.
All day: KidsZone, local vendors, art exhibits, food trucks, music, and more at the R-MC Parking Lot and North Railroad Street.
Free and open to the public. It will be a monumental day for Ashland!
